Janice Snair

Description

As a graduate from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, with a Bachelor of Design in Environmental Planning, Janice had a satisfying career in land planning, development, analysis and purchase and sale. Since retirement, she’s grateful for time to pursue her various artistic interests.

Janice is passionate about creating works with a tangible result. These works have involved painting in oil or acrylic, sketching, sewing, embroidery, and gardening. Most recently, she has been turning her attention to printmaking.

Living in Boutiliers Point amid the beautiful natural environment Janice has the privilege of taking part in an active art community. She is a member of both the Crossroads Artists and Aspotogan Arts and Crafts which provides her with opportunities to paint and learn from other creative people.
